Purpose of the Job:

The Retail & Admissions department at IWM Duxford is passionate about delivering an amazing customer service. We are looking for people with a professional and outgoing manner to join our team on Airshow and Event days (mainly weekends) to help us deliver this experience to our visitors.

The role of an Air Show and Events Kiosk Assistant, as part of the Retail and Admissions team, is to accurately check and scan tickets for the general public, ensuring that visitors have the correct and valid ticket for the event (and/or day). They may also be asked to help on merchandise redemption; an area that exchanges pre-purchased tickets or tokens for products, in addition to Flightline Walk, a location that allows visitors to get up close to Vintage Aircraft.

Being a member of the front-line staff and representing the IWM Brand, it is essential that all Air Shows and Events Kiosk Assistant are polite and friendly towards visitors at all times and able to demonstrate good customer care skills.

You will be expected as a part of different teams in order to contribute to and deliver the priorities of IWM using your knowledge, skills, talent and potential to the best of your ability.

You will focus at all times on delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail at all times while being professional, courteous and demonstrating the behaviours and attributes expected of all IWM employees.

You will also adhere to all corporate standards, and use corporate systems as directed to ensure consistency of service, brand and operational standards. You will be expected to comply with corporate processes and procedures– and undertake any necessary training as directed.
